| Large Animal Search and Rescue Team Team Update Fall 2009 Thank you to all of our participants for a successful year for the Large Animal Search and Rescue Team. We are looking ahead towards our training schedule for 2010. SMART is currently working on organizing their 501c3 and we have been asked to postpone our upcoming November training until early next year. We do have another exciting year planned for meetings and trainings. A schedule of events for 2010 will be available in the near future. We will have three team meetings that will have one hour dedicated to training topics such as Large Animal Husbandry, Zoonotic diseases and PPE (personal protection equipment) for rescuers. Three separate training events will be offered including two of the Large Animal Search and Rescue trainings, and a new training, Large Animal First Aid for the First Responder. We will send out training dates and location sites as soon as they become available. We appreciate your continued dedication to the Large Animal Search and Rescue Team and look forward to seeing you early next year!
